When you host a party, there is one element that is always on your mind that will never let you enjoy the party. One thing always at the back of your mind is “Oh God, the drinks should not fall short”. And truly it is a matter of concern, if the drinks fall short in the middle of party, nothing worse put off than this. On the other side, if there are excess of drink recipes, then your heart will ache to see the sheer wastage.

To avoid such problems, one should know exactly how much is required for a good cocktail recipes party. Approximately you need to keep four drinks on an average per person. For the alcoholic drink recipes, for a gathering of around 50 people, you will need-

* 2 bottles of good Scotch Whisky
 * 2 bottles of vodka
 * 1 or 2 bottles of rum
 * 1 bottle of gin
 * 1 bottle of brandy
 * 2 bottles of tequila

These are the basic minimums for a normal party. Then you can always add more exotic bottles according to your budget.

For beer recipes, you will require at least three to four cases of assorted beer. It should have all the leading brands.
