I think I may have flinched when I saw the offensive t shirts that my daughter and her friends were wearing at the homecoming basketball game last month. I immediately went to ask her where she had gotten it and she said that all kids had these funny t shirts made a print shop in town.

I told her that she had to either turn hers inside out, cover it up or she had to go home. She was really embarrassed but then I saw two other sets of parents doing the same thing to their child and I was glad. Whoever printed up the offensive t shirts and thought that it was okay to sell them to a bunch of high school kids is going to have to deal with me on Monday morning and it will not be pretty.

There were twenty kids who had on the so called funny t shirts at the game and all but three were asked to leave by the principal. The three that got to stay, were my daughter and the other two who had responsible parents who made them take off the shirt or cover it up. I hope that they have all learned their lesson.
