The uses of musical instrument have included the decorating purposes also as one of the main advantages. This is because of the varying structures of the instruments. They come in a variety of different attractive and beautiful structures and shapes of musical instruments. Hence, it will be good if we go for a study of the different appearances of musical instruments.
The goblet shaped Alexandria Doumbek comes in latest varieties. There are bowl shaped versions also, but the name gives us the picture of a goblet shaped musical instrument in our mind.
The barrel shaped djembe drum comes in goblet shapes also. Both of them have been popularized as both are the crafts of human creation. There are bowl shaped varieties from certain manufactures.
Egyptian Oud has a bowl like body. It reminds us of a water melon. This is the most familiar form in which they are widely seen.
