I am thinking of becoming a home inspector and followed around a friend of mine that just passed the test and was doing his first job last week. I thought that I knew what to look for but learned a lot during the two hour inspection.

The homeowner’s basement windows were not put in properly and had started to crack the foundation a little bit. You could see it with the naked eye so I do not know why they got so upset when it was written down on the inspection form. I think that since they had paid so much money for the basement windows they did not want that to hinder the sale of the home.

The other thing that was not noticeable to the naked eye, but that we discovered was that the four wood slider windows that were in the garage did not close completely. They looked as though they were shut, but you could not get them closed enough to lock them. This also made the homeowner upset but it was something that needed to be addressed.

I am not sure if I want to go into home inspecting just because of the basement window and the wood slider windows incidents. Homeowners are very scary when you find something wrong with their house.

We had some damage to our roof from the last storm and needed to get it replaced. I started searching for roof hail damage repair companies in my area and only found two. I needed to at least two estimates for my insurance company so I called both of the roof hail damage companies. They both were on time for the appointments and they both seemed to be very knowledgeable on the subject. They answered all of my questions and left their estimates for me to look over.

I called my insurance company the next day to let them know that I had both of the estimates for them and they asked if I also had the estimate from the siding company. I had the siding company estimates about a week before the roof damage estimates so I faxed everything over and waited to hear back from them.

I knew that it would take a while to hear something back, but we were going on a month and no call back yet. I could live with the damage that was done to the siding but the damage that was done to the roof could cause it to start leaking at any time and I did not want that to happen.

I had a paper to write for my computer class that had to be all about SEO services and SEO marketing. I started by doing some research for the best companies that offered SEO services and took notes from all the information that they had on their sites. While checking them out, I noticed that one of them was based out of Jacksonville since I was about ten minutes from there; I called to see if someone from the SEO marketing department would sit down and answer some questions for me.

I made the appointment for later that day since they had agreed to meet with me. I was so excited to think that I was going to be able to ask one of the biggest SEO services companies employees some great questions. I had a hard time finding the building because it was really small. I had expected it to be one of the biggest in the neighborhood.

I was even more shocked to walk in and find only five employees working there. They laughed when I told them that I thought they were a bigger company. I guess that people say that all the time. I got the answers to every SEO services question that I could think of and was on my way to write my paper.
